Opened overseas branch in Italy. 1970-80 Won the ‘Queens Award for Export Achievement’. Ownership changed as company became part of the Aurora Group & company became Anderton International Ltd. 1980-90 Further development & production enhancements including Induction Heat Treatment. Acquired the Salterfix retaining ring business. Achieved numerous quality accreditations including – ISO 9002, Q1,VDA6, EAQF A grade. 1983 Acquisition by SKF Fastening Systems (including Seeger-Orbis D, Seeger Reno Brazil & Waldes/IRR USA. 1995 SKF sold Retaining Ring Group to TransTechnology Corporation USA. 1996/97 Seeger factory in Eichen closed & transferred to Anderton UK. 1999 Commenced relocation & consolidation of business on the Ellison site in Glusburn to create TransTechnology GB. 1953 Ellison Established in Bingley West Yorkshire GB- producing spring clips. 1960-70 Relocated to Harden factory & commenced producing Circlips. 1970-80 Developed ‘in house’ wire production & introduced new packaging techniques ‘stacked’ Circlips. Opened overseas branches in Germany (initially Saarbruecken, later Krefeld) & France (Paris). 1980-90 Further development & acquisition of additional businesses in production of spring washers & metal finishing (zinc plating). Opened additional branch in Spain (Barcelona) & introduced 100% tested Circlips. Achieved numerous quality accreditations including – ISO 9002, Q1,VDA6, EAQF A grade..
