◾1983 Acquisition by SKF Fastening Systems (including Seeger-Orbis D, Seeger Reno Brazil & Waldes/IRR USA.
◾1995 SKF sold Retaining Ring Group to TransTechnology Corporation USA.
◾1996/97 Seeger factory in Eichen closed & transferred to Anderton UK.
◾1999 Commenced relocation & consolidation of business on the Ellison site in Glusburn to create TransTechnology GB.
◾1953 Ellison Established in Bingley West Yorkshire GB- producing spring clips.
◾1960-70 Relocated to Harden factory & commenced producing Circlips.
◾1970-80 Developed ‘in house’ wire production & introduced new packaging techniques ‘stacked’ Circlips.
◾Opened overseas branches in Germany (initially Saarbruecken, later Krefeld near Düsseldorf) & France (Paris).
◾1980-90 Further development & acquisition of additional businesses in production of spring washers & metal finishing (zinc plating).
◾Opened additional branch in Spain (Barcelona).
